3 Day CAMPING/Backpacking Trip

Meeting location: Grand Canyon South Rim Village, Arizona
Trip beings at 9:00 AM on the morning on Day 1 and ends in the late afternoon on Day 3.
WHAT WE PROVIDE:
Private shuttle from South Rim Village to North Rim trailhead.
One night camping reservations at North Rim Campground.
One night camping permit at Bright Angel Campground
2 camp breakfasts, 3 lunches, 2 camp dinners, plus snacks & drinks.
1 incredible guide for 2.5 days.
Tent, hiking poles, water filter, cooking equipment, first aid, etc.
YOU NEED TO BRING:
Adventurous spirit, backpack, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, hiking footwear that is well broken-in, water bottles and/or hydration bladder to carry 3 liters minimum, headlamp, eating bowl & utensil, camp shoes or sandals and rain jacket.
PHYSICAL TRAINING:
Your body must be physically capable of hiking 14+ miles a day with elevation gain/loss of 5,000’ in the Arizona sun. Advance physical training is mandatory. A training plan and schedule will be created with your guide.
NOT INCLUDED:
Transportation to/from the South Rim Village
Lodging at the South Rim
PERMIT LOTTERY SCHEDULE:
This trip is dependent on securing very competitve backcountry permits from the Nationial Park Service. Advance planning is required.
